Deuces Wild & Summer Lent

"Deuces Wild" is standing for each Kettlebell Fat Blaster during the month of June we'll be having 2's or pairs of something in some way or another. I love training in a simplistic manner and this is going to be an awesome month leading into summer!

Here's our new 30 Day Challenge called "Summer Lent". Essentially, just like Lent, they will be challenged to give up one thing- be it a sweet, a salty food, meat, dairy, all grains, etc- for the entire month of June Lent is a great, great concept and I've always liked it. Give up something that's holding you back during our 30 Day Challenge.

REMEMBER: Whatever you give up, it's gotta sting!! That's a challenge and it's in that hurt that you'll find your results!!

New Synergy Kettlebell Training Poll

Put Out The Feelers Poll: 2 proposed new Kettlebell Kamp class times. These are based upon your recent mentionings either directly to me or down the grapevine.

1) 6am or 7am class. Pick your fav, but only one. The most requested will be scheduled.

2) 7pm class. Quite a few people have mentioned they would like this.

Should one or both of these classes become scheduled they will be initially as a test launch basis. This means most likely 2-3 times a week for the first month and then more days added from there. Ex. Mon, Wed, Fridays at first before offering more days.

2 Further Thoughts cause I'd like to make a decision soon...

Thought 1: I'd like to move to evening class times of 5, 6, & 7pm. Flex Training will stay as it currently is with you having open gym hours 4:30-7pm, but should we begin a 7pm class the Flex Training will be extended until 8pm.

Thought 2: If we do a early morning class or later class I will need some dedication to those classes so that we're not having a ghost town. Know what I mean? To help with that here's what I'm gonna do. When we schedule those classes if the demand is there I'll give you all a REALLY good referral bonus to help me drive in new biz into those classes. You help me and I'll help you. That's what being a family is all about. :) Fair Enough?

30 Day Challenge: Don't Do My 30 Day Challenges!!

That might sound foolish coming from me, but my video tells you why... and I'm totally for real and true about it too. Anyway, watch and I'll tell you exactly why I don't want you doing my 30 Day Challenges that accompany our Synergy Kettlebell Training workouts. Oh and please excuse my little bit of choppy filming here. LOL  Brayden and I were at the Fox River hanging out and all I had was my phone to capture my video when the thoughts popped into my head and I got inspired. Not too bad for a phone huh?

Our *NEW* Synergy Kettlebell Training Gym

Last week we moved into our brand new gym suite and are absolutely loving it. There's so much more room to fat blast and get stronger with dem kettlebells.

Check out a few pics from our Synergy Kettlebell Training studio. I'm still working on motivational wall decorations, window signage, mat flooring, and a couple cool murals. For now it's a dream come true for me. I praise God for providing and for all my clients who help make this possible every day.  Thank YOU!  :)

Some Ladies of Synergy Kettlebell Training

Honestly I think women are the toughest of the sexes. Seriously and I'm NOT just saying this because my wife and mother read my blog.  I'm being real here.  This is something I've known for a very long time and love watching them train kettlebells cause they improve so fast. It's not like other workouts cause every day is a new day and new workout altogether. In fact at Synergy Kettlebell Training we don't even call them "workouts", but your fat blasters and get stronger blasters. That's how it should be done. Check out one that we did the other day.

Women really do work harder than men do when it comes to fitness training.  At Synergy Kettlebell Training we have an awesome time blasting fat and getting stronger every day. Our motto is: Fitness Has Nothing To Do With Looking Good AND Looking Good Is Just A Side Effect To Being Healthy.

I can tell you that we definitely all love those side effects and we get them as a direct result of dedicated hard work. I'm so excited and privileged to work every day with the most beautiful and hardest working ladies in the Fox Valley area. Together they work their butts off in an amazing kettlebell fitness experience like no other.  Fat doesn't stand a chance when you use the proven formula for results.

How NOT To Do A Pushup

If you've been following my blog long enough you'll know that fitness is a huge part of our life in the Garon household and sometimes we randomly just break out in some Kettlebell swings, pushups, jumping jacks, lunges, or whatever. It's my goal to ingrain into my son Brayden that life needs to be active and health is a huge factor to always keep in check and focus. Since moving back to Illinois and being around family they too have the opportunity to benefit from our lifestyle. My niece Brooke has been practicing some fitness activities with Brayden recently and when we got to pushups we ran into a wall. Without even giving her instructions, and just telling her to perform a pushup, she did what she thought was what she should be doing. Needless to say we laughed a lot. Ok... now we weren't laughing AT her, but just at what she was doing. She innocently was trying her best, but simply didn't know exactly what how to properly do it. We adults are like this too and often times our bodies won't do what our mind wants or sometimes our mind doesn't grasp exactly how to physically do something. That's okay. We just need patience and consistent practice at the things we want to get better at.

Check This Out: In the U.S., the average body fat percentage for a man is around 25%, while a woman it’s around 40%. Men should be at about 12% and women 22%. It take a lot of work to be healthy and people are generally lazy… so they get fat. Be encouraged today to make your actions reflect your goals.

One thing you can be certain that if you regularly perform pushups, even if you think you cannot there are always modifications to help you so you can(ie. wide leg stance for a stronger base), you will become much stronger in much more than your arms and chest because your core works a lot in the movement to stabilize your legs and hips. Give 5-10 pushups a go 3 times a day, at set times every day, and inside of 3 weeks you'll be able to do that many all at once.  Happy Trails!
